We spent most of the day on a city tour, which we took mostly by bus because the city is so big. After the hour drive to the center, we got out and walked around the big university in the center of the city Universidad Nacional Cordoba (UNC) which was really spread out. The long, detailed lecture about the grafiti on the walls was not what I would have expected from a tour like that, but we sure did here a lot about the grafiti, but never that it was a bad thing. Actually, on university campus, it is legal for grafiti in certain areas, i thought that was pretty interesting.

After an excessively long lecture on visas and how MiUBP worked, it was time for me to go out alone. After being escorted there I had to find my way back to the homestay, and that was definitely my first test while here. I must have missed the bus stop because I walked quite a way before I found one, but I did find one, I got on a bus, and I made it to my first stop - movistar (a phone company) so I now have a working chip in my iPhone which is great! And I managed to get back on the correct bus and make it back to the home stay with only minor issues.
I'm sure I will get more used to getting around here but I will admit I was very proud of myself for making it home for the first time alone. Well I hope dinner is ready soon, a piece of chicken for lunch and dinner at 9:30 is just not cutting it very well for me. I'm going to have to find a grocery store.
Its storming again here so its not a great night to go out, but I am ready to leave this house and do something, its hot in here. And humid. Since there's no air conditioning.
Also its been interesting using the internet because about half the things are in Spanish and the other half are still in English. I never know what I;m going to get. Luckily I usually understand either
